The red wine Valmaggiore Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Luciano Sandrone has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Clear, bright cherry red. A little reserved and shy on the nose, only tentatively revealing redcurrants and some raspberries. Delicately creamy on the palate with juicy tannins and a clear fruity core which follows through beautifully to the clean and slightly salty finish.
