Tasting from 03.11.2023: Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler

Dark, almost impenetrable purple with hints of ruby. Very fragrant on the nose with juicy cherries, cassis, a touch of red bell pepper, violets and earthy notes. On the palate, lots of sweet fruit supported by grippy, firm tannin, savoury notes and bitter chocolate, with a touch too much wood on the somewhat harsh finish.
