The red wine Fratta Veneto Rosso IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Maculan has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a subtly brightening rim. Graphite, leather, ripe wild berries, some black tea and fine undergrowth on the nose. Smooth on the palate, with clear, juicy fruit, with earthy, compact tannins, shows plenty of ageing potential; put away and enjoy fully in a few years.
