The red wine Ahrweiler Silberberg Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Maibachfarm has been rated in 2017 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
There are some new oak nuances, as well as aromas of fresh fig and cooked red berry. It is nicely balanced on the palate, with a juiciness, integrated firm grainy tannins, and a supporting ripe acidity. It is a well-structured wine without harshness, and has a hint of minerality, and it is already showing the first signs of opening up.
