The red wine Terrassenlage Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Maibachfarm has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Chocolate, blueberries, wild herbs, ripe late harvest fruit. On the palate, plenty of grainy tannins, a powerful structure, which is kept in balance by a firm acidity and a striking minerality. Supple, when the tannins fully mature, this promises to be plump and full of substance.
