Shiny, intense ruby. Shows nicely on the nose, ripe berry fruit, currant and blackberry, also some raspberry, on the other hand there are savoury components. The palate is full-bodied and rich, opening with pithy, dense tannins, good complexity, tobacco notes, dense and deep, very long finish.
