Dark ruby with a slight garnet shimmer; clear and compact nose with notes of ripe cherries, lots of blackberries, some tobacco in the background; similarly compact on the palate as on the nose, dense tannins, spans a very wide range, salty, with a finish of blackberries and licorice.
