Tasting Notes
Young, fresh ruby, deep dark core. Opens on the nose with notes of dark chocolate, much cassis, mulberry, behind it fine mint. Taut, dense tannin, many layers, powerful and gripping, profound, on the finish discreet earthy notes of beetroot, long and powerful.
More about the tastingRich, deep dark ruby with a high violet content. Compact and dense on the attack, presents itself with a lot of fleshy fruit, cassis, blackberries, underlaid with some mint and dried tomatoes. Plays up nicely on the palate, shows lots of plump fruit, then opens up with rich, dense tannins, very long finish, tobacco and dark chocolate.
