The red wine Solaia IGT, vintage 2014 from the winery Marchesi Antinori has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Powerful, deep ruby with a slight purple sheen. Compact and clear nose, rich with ripe currant notes and ripe plums, some rum pot, fine herbs in the background. Crisp and dense on the palate, fine fruit, very clear, gripping tannins. On the finish profound and long, with red beet and liquorice.
