Tasting Notes
Dense ruby with a fine garnet sheen. Opens with emphatic earthy notes, after which there is liquorice and truffle, then it shows rich fruit, lots of blackberry, some sandalwood. Powerful and rich on the palate, ripe plum, opens with vivid, tightly woven tannin, still seems a bit rough on the back end, very great certain ageing potential.
