Dark ruby colour, purple reflections, Faint ochre brightening on the rim. Fine oak spice, ripe cherries, some liquorice, with a hint of plums and nougat in the background. Complex, finely spiced, blackberries, vivid, firm tannins but fresh with a mineral finish and a touch of nougat. A salty aftertaste and a finely textured food companion.
