The red wine Pichemej Barolo DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Agricola Gian Piero Marrone has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region La Morra in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a subtle orange rim. On the nose, aromas of fine oak, dried rose petal, clove, and dried raspberry are evident, alongside subtle summer truffle and a touch of Assam tea. The full-bodied, rich palate is compact and well balanced, with drive. Still young, this promises good things!
