Marrone is a family business based in La Morra, in the heart of the Barolo winegrowing region. The Marrone sisters are the fourth generation to run the winery: Valentina, the oenologist, oversees all stages of production and Serena is responsible for accounting, administration and, with the help of her husband Marco, for some markets. Barolo is Marrone's flagship wine, but the white wines also play a respectable role, especially Arneis and Favorita. The vineyards are located in Madonna di Como.
