The red wine Montepulgo, vintage 2015 from the winery Masari has been rated in 2021 by Kiem Othmar, Staffler Simon with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot
Bright ruby with a brightening rim. Impressive, rich nose of ripe blackberry, plum and preserved cherry, with some sandalwood. Complex and full-bodied on the palate, ripe berry fruit, especially blackberry and dark currant, opens up with grippy, dense tannins, full-bodied drive on the finish.
