The red wine Sasseo Primitivo Salento IGT, vintage 2020 from the winery Masseria Altemura has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Primitivo from the region Puglia in Italy.
Rich cherry red with a dark rim. Ripe plum on the nose, followed by resinous spruce and cold coffee, hints of wet tobacco, and wilting violets. Lively freshness, some loosely knit tannins, toasted flavors of vanilla and cold smoke, finishing with ripe berries.
