The red wine Barbaresco DOCG Albesani, vintage 2022 from the winery Massolino Vigna Rionda has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Light ruby colour with a clear garnet-red tendency. Initially restrained, then fine notes of small wild berries, followed by marzipan and undergrowth. More vivid on the palate, with a concentrated fruit centre, fine tannins and integrated acidity through to the lingering, juicy finish.
