The sekt Maximin Grünhaus Riesling Sekt Brut, vintage 2018 from the winery Maximin Grünhaus – Weingut der Familie von Schubert has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Riesling savouriness on the nose with a slight hint of petrol. Quite sweet in the mouth, medium-fine mousse, nice spiciness on the palate, juicy acidity, remains pleasant. "Almost like a sparkling Kabinett," said one of the tasting panel members.
