Pale gold, green reflections. Initially quite restrained on the nose, then great spicy notes of curry and verbena, candied lemon peel and peppery tones with a hint of yeast. Full-bodied on the palate with an exciting contrast between texture and acidity, great fruit expression provides the backbone. The full-bodied and mineral depth of the old vines is credible in the glass. Great length, great further ageing potential.
