The white wine »Quarzit« Riesling trocken, vintage 2024 from the winery Mehrlein has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Initially floral and yellow-fruity. Then flavours of yellow peach, Meyer lemon, quince and a hint of meadow herbs develop. Wonderfully juicy on the palate thanks to good acidity and fine minerality, which also creates a fine balance with the fruit. Serious with a good finish.
