Tasting from 07.09.2017: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Clear ruby purple. On the nose it opens with light earthy notes of tobacco and tar, then lots of elderberry, inviting aromas. On the palate hearty and pithy throughout, finely meshed grippy tannins, it builds into many layers with well developed fruit, with lots of raspberry on the finish.
