The red wine Damo Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Montemercurio has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero, Colorino, Mammolo from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Ruby red with a brightening rim and orange-coloured reflections. The nose opens ripe with slight notes of ageing, clear roasted aromas of mocha and cocoa, followed by black cherry. Full-bodied fruit and wide-spanning tannins on the palate. Retronasal, some herbal savouriness. Good palate drive onto the long finish.
