The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Nicolis has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina Veronese, Rondinella , Croatina, Molinara from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright, deep dark ruby. Very open on the nose, dark chocolate, preserved cherries and plums, rum pot, porcini mushrooms, rosemary. Dark, savoury fruit on the palate, rich blackberry, shows tightly woven, dense tannins, delicate aftertaste on the finish.
