The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Nicolis has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Molinara, Croatina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark ruby red with purple reflections. On the nose, preserved cherries and plums, aromas of rum-steeped fruit, dried tomatoes and some thyme, as well as dark chocolate and cinnamon. Very dense and intense on the palate, with lots of fruit, well-integrated tannins, ending with fruit and savouriness.
