Clear ruby with bright garnet rim. Charming, inviting nose with rich notes of ripe plum, blackberry, underpinned by roses and leather. Juicy palate with lots of cherry, then opens up with pithy, dense tannins, multi-layered and salty, with a rich drive on the polished finish.
