Tasting from 25.11.2016: Othmar Kiem

Luminous ruby with garnet glints. Opens tentatively, but then shows very nice ripe notes, of sour plums, saffron and pomegranate, some leather in the background. Rich and tightly meshed tannins, firm and gripping, shows earthy tones in addition to nicely ripened fruit, finely meshed, dense tannins, fine texture.
