The red wine Meriame Barolo DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery Paolo Manzone has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Dark, rich ruby with garnet hue. Very intense, powerful nose, aromas of blackberries, pickled plums, fine rose petals. The palate is rich with dense tannins, pithy and spicy, but also coated with a sweet texture, gives the wine length and density, rich on the finish.
