The red wine Meriame Barolo DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Paolo Manzone has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, rich garnet red. Very intense and appealing nose, rose petals, cinchona bark, some iodine, rich blackberries and plums. Hearty and enveloping on the palate, unfolds with vivid, grippy tannins, firm drive on the finish.
