The red wine Barolo Riserva DOCG Rocche dell'Annunziata, vintage 2019 from the winery Paolo Scavino has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Rich ruby colour with a bright garnet rim. Very clear and memorable nose, full of fresh wild raspberries, some plum, truffle and liquorice. With lots of juicy fruit like fine raspberries on the palate, it opens up with grippy tannins, in many layers. Savoury drive in the finish. Cloves on the end.
