The red wine Barolo Cannubi DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Paolo Scavino has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Clear, medium dense ruby. Intense and inviting nose, opens with slightly resinous tones, then lots of ripe plum and hints of liquorice. Round and smooth on the palate, full, ripe fruit with lots of texture, opens with fine-meshed, dense tannin, sweet fruit on the finish.
