Tasting Notes
The nose is shy initially and then gives glimpses of cocoa and blueberry and almost of iron-oxide and blood. The body is dense, full, ripe and quite bold. There is firm but ripe tannin but there is so much fruit – almost chocolatey fruit – that is breaks through into utter juiciness. There is lovely freshness to counter the plush density and the result is an immensely approachable but full-bodied, fresh wine.
