The white wine Giatl Pinot Grigio Riserva Südtirol DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Peter Zemmer has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright and brilliant golden yellow colour. On the nose it is inviting and rich, with creamy notes followed by yellow fruit aromas, there is also a hint of saffron, as well as a buttery character, and a slight flinty hint. The palate is very rich and full with well-integrated oak, and it opens with breadth and a creamy texture. It has a gentle drive, and there is a very long finish.
