The red wine Campo Lusso Valdarno di Sopra DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Petrolo has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Lively, rich ruby with a high violet content. Intense, rich nose, savoury, dried Mediterranean spices, lots of mulberry and blackcurrant behind it, some tar in the background. Very precise and with appealing dark berry fruit on the palate, salty and juicy, lots of finely-meshed tannins, lingers for a long time, full-bodied drive on the finish.
