There is an intense bouquet that is initially characterized by toasty notes and smoky bacon hints, as well as aromas of ripe plum, dark wild berry, cinnamon and orange zest. It has polished tannins on the palate, with plenty of texture, and it is full-bodied, with a rum-steeped fruit flavour, toasty notes, a salty impression, and a long finish.
