Falstaff Wineguide Switzerland 2023/24

Philippe Bovet is both a visionary and a practical man. He came to viticulture in 1982, when his father took over the family's 200-year-old farm in Givrins. Philippe took a liking to the tiny vineyard and trained as an oenologist. In 2002, he started his own business and built a cellar with a large press and many small vats. As a contract winemaker, he processes the grapes of the villagers into their own wines. Today, the jack-of-all-trades grows 14 grape varieties and you can choose from 34 individual crus.
