The red wine Rioja Reserva, vintage 2019 from the winery Piccini has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Berry aroma of red and dark fruits, flanked by wood spice and pipe tobacco, also dried herbs, dark chocolate, smoke, some pomegranate. Full-bodied, deep and round on the palate with a soft texture and ripe, melted tannins, dark chocolate, the acidity is also ripe and integrated, full-bodied, medium complexity and quite fruity, ideal with pasta and meat.
