The natural wine »Nature« Riesling Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Pieper Basler Weingut has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Riesling, Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
Strong golden yellow in colour. Attractive vin naturel nose, balsamic savouriness, apple peel, quince, wormwood herb. On the palate with tension and drive, which are fed by the integrated fruit and delicate phenolics, the Riesling sets the acid arc, very well done.
