Ripe fruit, mango and pear, some lychee, fine oak, subtle oak savouriness, spices such as aniseed and cardamom. Keeps the palate busy with lots of substance, power and savouriness, good balance of elements, sensitive use of wood, salty, mineral notes, long. Can mature.
More about the tastingNoticeable new wood with some savoury, floral varietal aromas like rosehip, lilac and apricot kernel on the nose. In the mouth, oiliness and substance are interwoven in a sophisticated way, with the acidity seamlessly integrated. The powerful alcohol is so richly filled with extract that it is hardly identifiable. A big burner, but with a 'idea'.
