The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Pieropan has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Croatina, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby. Dense and inviting nose, full of fresh plums, some liquorice and milk chocolate. Juicy and very precise on the palate, lots of cherry fruit, opens up with finely integrated tannins, an Amarone that you can enjoy several glasses of.
