The red wine Monte Garzon Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Pieropan has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Croatina from the region Provincia Verona in Italy.
Dark, elegant ruby red colour with a subtly brightening rim. Fragrant, slightly floral on the nose, with clear, elegant fine wood, juicy cherry fruit and fine floral hints. Good harmony on the palate, fruit and acidity are in their right place, the new wood still dominates a little, with a slight after-dryness, still needs to age.
