The white wine St-Saphorin Les Manchettes, vintage 2015 from the winery Pierre Monachon has been rated in 2017 by Martin Kilchmann with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gutedel from the region Lavaux in Switzerland.
Pale yellow. Initially somewhat restrained on the nose, then savoury notes, toast, melon, yellow peaches. Soft, round attack. On the palate, juicy acidity, mineral, citrus, white pepper, fresh herbs. Fresh, with a long finish. Very attractive wine that develops nicely in the glass.
