The red wine Pietradolce Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Pietradolce has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Clear, intense garnet red. Opens with a fine interplay between pomegranate and cardamom with notes of blood orange. Hearty, grippy tannins on the palate, salty and deep, still young and a touch unpolished, but has the best of beginnings.
