The red wine Mosconi Barolo DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Azienda Agricola E. Pira E Figli has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Brilliant ruby with slightly bright rim. Compact and dense nose, rich of blackberry and dark cherry, plus some liquorice and truffle. Firm and full-on on the palate, showing plenty of grip, dense tannins, dark berry fruit, finishing salty and long, and of leather.
