The red wine Barolo DOCG Mosconi, vintage 2021 from the winery Azienda Agricola E. Pira E Figli has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Rich, dark ruby colour with a slight garnet rim. Complex and profound nose, rich notes of candied rose petals, cranberry confit and plum, some cigar. Pithy tannins characterise the palate, inlaid with fine sweet texture, builds well, still a little drying on the finish, still needs time.
