Tasting Notes
Medium-bodied red with a powerful Sangiovese bouquet - spiced and nutty, with notes of black cherry and elderberry. The attack is powerful - very sturdy, dense and pithy with austere tannins and a juicy acidity. The finish is long and drying, with a spiced character. Full of character, but still austere, Chianti Riserva, still needs to mature a touch.
