The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva Aluigi, vintage 2012 from the winery Podere Le Cinciole has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant, intense ruby-garnet color. Very fragrant and clear nose, shows notes of ripe, pickled cherries, some raspberry and saffron, inviting. Very juicy in the attack and on the palate, builds for a long time, lots of warm, ripe fruit, beautiful play, salty, very long finish, juicy.
