The red wine Petresco Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Podere Le Cinciole has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Ruby red with purple highlights. On the nose ripe plums, dried dates, moss and flint, spicy clove, a touch animalistic. Crisp acidity on the palate, lots of juice, very compact, fine, grippy tannin and a rich drive, slight dryness on the finish.
