Strong ruby garnet, purple reflections, subtle ochre rim lightening. Fine herbal savouriness, black cherries, complex and full with ripe berryish fruit, orange zest, some mauve. Complex, taut, red berry, firm tannins, fresh acidity, fine extracted sweetness on the finish, very good length, spicy-salty in the aftertaste, a great food companion with certain ageing potential.
