Clear, rich ruby colour. Rich, intense nose of blackberries and dark cherries, with plenty of cloves and some cardamom behind it. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, unfolds with dense tannins, spreads across very nicely, with bite, lots of dark cherry on the finish, subtle earthy notes, persistent.
