The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2021 from the winery Podere Poggio Scalette has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich ruby red with slight brightening on the rim. On the nose there are notes of ripe sour cherries and violets, slightly spicy in the background with a touch of forest floor. The palate is fruity, juicy and drinkable with well-integrated tannin, long finish.
