Rich, impenetrable ruby; very intense and compact nose with notes of blackberries, some blueberries, a hint of powidl; unfolds extremely smoothly in the mouth, lots of ripe dark cherry fruit, opens up with lots of rich, wonderfully soft tannin at the core, persistent and juicy in the finish, great.
